Willy Wonkas Music Room

December 10th, 2008 · No Comments

If there is ever a time to use euphoric-inducing drugs, do it right now before you watch this. This is the musical version of the clitoris (I imagine, I’ve never seen it before myself).

The Circle of Poo

December 4th, 2008 · No Comments

When I was home for Thanksgiving, I saw a guy I hadn’t seen in about 6 years — a real greasy scumbag from high school. And he’s still a greasy scumbag. Only now he has a goatee.

And I’ve been laughing all week because he looked like “Jafar” from Aladdin. We started singing “You Ain’t Never had A Friend Like Me!” when he was around. So funny…

…And that’s my segway into this hilarious clip from South Park. It may be my favorite SP musical number of all time.

Simpsons Rips On Apple

December 1st, 2008 · No Comments

The Simpsons is going on Season 20 right now, and let’s be honest, it ain’t what it used to be. At least that’s what everyone loves saying. I haven’t actually watched a new episode in probably 5 years, so I’m OK with snap-judging the new episodes to be doody.

But this is pretty great. A new mApple store opens in Springfield and the result is mHilarious. (Watch it quick, cuz my guess is this video will be yanked down faster than Sisqo’s music career)

Miley Cyrus and John Travolta…Duet?

November 10th, 2008 · 2 Comments

What happens when a washed-up Scientologist from Battlestar Gallactica meets an uber-rich teenage pop star? They duet, of course. Now this in no way is “funny”, but it did make me realize two things:

1) I’m starting to see why people like Miley Cyrus so much. I mean, she’s pretty hot. And she’s really rich.
2) John Travolta looks even douchier with a goatee.

The Startling

October 26th, 2008 · No Comments

If you saw last weeks episode of South Park, you know the episode ended in the middle of all Cloverfield-like chaos. ie - giant ginuea pigs attacking the city.

Well, I’m happy to say that Part 2 is coming this week. And it looks so…startling.

T-Dubs In Real Life

October 24th, 2008 · 1 Comment

It’s been a busy time of year for the ol’ Pizzaface. Work is great, my side projects are finally gaining some real steam, and in my spare time, I’m still trying to have brief and fleeting moments of crunk juice. But there is one thing that’s whoring up most of my free time…Time Whore.

TWSo I mentioned a while ago that I got a small amount of funding to produce three Time Whore shorts for Fox Animation. As of last week, we started going into production. We have a Flash House doing our animation and recording, which is amazing, because doing stop-motion animation myself is as mind numbing as watching Pauly Shore act.

That said, this is still super-small scale. And as such, there is still a great deal of odds and ends that fall onto me (and my partner Andy’s) shoulders.

I should say first off, that in the original shorts, I stole every single image from the internet. I ripped them off like Winona Rider at a jewelry store, or Britney Spears at a chinese buffet (”Please, Mrs. Spears! Not the whole tray!!!”). So for these shorts, we needed to do everything legally. Get real pictures, as well as cast, clothe, and costume the main charachters in a non-illegal fashion. Namely, Doc Rock (the Pimp) and Time Whore.

But as we started pre-production for these shorts, I ran into two unexpected problems:

1) I have no black friends. I wish I did. But for whatever reason — maybe because I smell or don’t have the proper muscle definition — I don’t. So casting a black Pimp…would be tough.

2) Getting a woman’s whore outfit. Finding a tight, black leather one-piece suit for Time Whore (that kept consistent with the original) would be tough, especially since I can barely dress myself.

DocSo the first problem — my unmistakable whiteness. I racked my brain, thought if there was anyone I was friendly with of the African American variety. There was actually one man, who called himself “Neezey”, that I worked with for three days a while ago. But he’s one of those people that will message you on MySpace like every couple weeks with “HEY MAN! SUP WIT YOU?!!! Holla at ME. -Neezey”.

Since I find MySpace to be creepy, and constant questioning from a man I barely know to be even creepier, this was not a relationship I wanted to reopen. Thankfully, this is LA. Home to a million and one struggling actors (you may recall my flog “Idiot Savant (Headshots)” about this exact subject).

So we called up a Non-Union Casting Agency, and asked for “a black man with muscular build”. (more…)

Best of G.I. Joe PSAs

October 21st, 2008 · No Comments

Thanks to the internet, a bunch of old G.I. Joe PSAs have been redubbed for our dumbed-down viewing pleasure. A few of the best ones are “Porkchop Sandwiches” and “Computer“.

They’re weird and stupid, but funny. Here’s a Best Of compilation…

I Met The Walrus

October 17th, 2008 · No Comments

This is really cool. A teenage kid got this audio interview with John Lennon in 1969, and now as an adult, put the interview to amazing animation.

The imagery is phenomenal, and the words are incredibly relevant and profound. Coolest thing I’ve seen all week…

Rejected

October 13th, 2008 · 1 Comment

If you’ve ever had someone shit on your ideas, this should strike a chord with you. This piece was universally rejected…but became a cult favorite, and eventually got an Academy Award Nomination.

It comes from animator Don Hertzfeldt. Some of the shit is just twisted and crazy, but some of it is really sweet (especially the ending). My spoon is too big!!

The Full WuTang Clan

September 7th, 2008 · No Comments

If you’ve ever been to a rap concert, you’ve experience the art of “Rapper Jamming”. This is where they compete to see how many rappers they can physically fit onto one stage. The most I’ve seen is eleven.

Here’s a great animated short where the Wu introduces their full crew of Wu Warriors.

MC Bitchass keeps it hard for the streets.

Two Girls 1 Cup: Stewie’s Reaction

July 8th, 2008 · No Comments

If you’ve seen 2Girls1Cup, then you know all about it’s hilarity/hideousness. And even if you’re too scared to watch the poo-heavy video, you’ve certainly seen the many “reaction” videos, which tend to be better than watching the real thing.

And Stewie Griffin’s reaction is just as awesome.
